This mixed-media card was inspired by the current Colorthowdown challenge with a little help from Jennifer McGuire. I adventured into a new technique with this challenge. I used an embossing folder, cream cardstock and brown Memento ink for the background. I then stamped a few birds in red and orange Hero Arts inks along with an orange sentiment from Newton’s Nook. I popped the background on some foam as I find embossed backgrounds easier to glue this way. Super fast and simple to make.

Such a fun card. Love how you incorporated your new techniques. I still need to finish the rest of that video. I really like your winter scene, especially those tiny birds.
