Best Wishes

Happy hump day for those able to work! I am taking some time to craft a bit more with my “vacation” time. Here is my take on the current fusion challenge. A rather simple approach for this card. The circles are heat embossed on a textured paper. The cake is the same stamp from the previous entry only stamped and colored a bit different. The cake stand is simply clear embossing on white card stock. The sentiment is a foiled embossing sentiment from Spellbinders.

Best Wishes Y’all!

Alice

I am in love with these Alice in Wonderland stamps from Stamping Bella. Images were stamped on Copic BLENDING CARD X-Press It Paper. No copics were used. AMAZING! Still playing with ArtMarkers from Amazon; they are remarkable for the price. There is no skin tone in this set, so Prismacolor pencils to the rescue. The background is a stamp from Neat and Tangled paired Emerald Creek’s burnt copper embossing powder.

Have a great week y’all!

Birthday Purrincess

It’s been a while since I’ve made a CAS card. Here is a great little birthday card. The cat and sentiment are from the Ton’s Purrincess set. The packages are from a set by MayMay Helms. Simple copic coloring and a few gelly roll white pen accents finish the card.

Have a purrfect day y’all!

Sweetest Wishes

This card was inspired by the current Fusion Card challenge. DD14 made this card. The background was distressed oxide with a hexagon stencil (although they look more like polkadots). The stamps are from Art Impessions Wisk It set. The sentiment is a simple gold ink. Great job, girlie!!

Party Animal

Happy Birthday Lawn Fawn!

This is my first ever #10 size card. It was a tremendous amount of fun!!. A shout out to Carrie Rhodes whose youTube video gave me the encouragement to try one of these cards. Lawn Fawn stamps were obviously used, Party Animal and Oh Gnome!. The background is simple stenciling with Lucky Clover and Salty Ocean. The animals, balloons and presents are truly simple copic coloring.

I hope you like it y’all!

Hello Color Challenge

I finally was able to finish a Color Throwdown challenge before the link closed! YEAH! 👐 I saw these colors and thought of a beach scene at sunset. Who better to use for a beach than Hero Arts stamps?! Distressed Oxide inks (antique linen, abandoned coral and peeled paint) provided the sand, sky and chairs and Gina K inks the water. Hero Arts Unicorn White created the clouds. Ranger’s embossing powders in antique white and tan supplied the foams on the waves and the sentiment. A simple and fun scene to create!

Enjoy Y’all!

Throwback Thursday to………… Andy Warhol

This card was done for the current the Card Concept challenge #131. Anytime I see a challenge with a box of 4 as a layout, I cannot help but think of the work done by Andy Warhol. This classy and elegant card uses a penguin from a BB-MFT set stamped with Memento black ink. The remaining work is simple Copic coloring and masking. I was not bold enough to try the screen printing like Mr. Warhol. 🙄

This card will be also entered into the 2 CraftyCritterCrazies. Their theme this month is owls. Obvously, these are not owls, but cool birds nonetheless.

Happy Crafting Y’all!

Fairy Movie

Secret of the Wings was inspired by the current Lawnfawnatics challenge. Lawn Fawn’s Fairy friends and Frost Fairies were used to make this card. Some ink blending and hill border dies were used for the back ground. Iceberg embossing powder by Emerald Creek was used on top of the hills. Some simple copic coloring was used for Tinkerbell’s Friends (Periwinkle, Spike, Fawn and Rosetta). Simple Clear wink of stella was used for their wings. Some coordinating dies, foam tape and glue help assemble the card.

Have a great week crafters!

Caffeinated Friday

TGIF crafters! Have a caffeine enhanced morning!!

The inspiration for this card came from the card concept challenge. I took inspiration from the colors and a bit of the background to make this scene card. The scene card is just a unicorn having his morning coffee in the kitchen with his pet cat. Why not? Anytime I see coffee as a challenge, I can’t help think of The Rabbit Hole Design coffee stamps.

Here’s what I used. The background is simply white card stock embossed with a brick and wood grain which were then cut down and pieced together. The unicorn and coffee bag were stamped with Versafine black ink and embossed with Ranger’s Hologram clear embossing powder. The cat and shelf were stamped with Memento black ink. All the images were fussy cut and then some Copic marker coloring finished them. For some shimmer, gold metallic paint and clear wind of stella were added to the unicorn. It’s hard to see the shimmer in this photo, but it is there. The smile die cut is from my stash. The sentiment “Caffeine makes me sparkle” (hard to read in this photo) was stamped with Versamark ink on acetate and embossed with Emerald Creek’s Apple Martini embossing powder. A little glue and some foam tape put it all together.

Have a great weekend y’all!
