Having a thankful sort of day today, crafters. I saw the current Color throwdown challenge and here is my creation. I truly love the way mixed media pieces look; I love the layered goodness of them. The thankful background is acrylic paints in fuchsia and turquoise from my stash; the turquoise is a sponged gel plate transfer. Tim Holtz adds the worded background through his tissue paper and stamps. The plaid is a black and white washi tape. The white hearts and sentiment are Cricut access files.
“A Thankful Heart opens our eyes to a multitude of Blessing that continually surround us.”

What a great “scappy” card! Love this! Thanks so much for playing along with us at the Color Throwdown this week!
