Glowing Jack

Good evening, vampires and crafters! It’s a late night here in Texas. I received Camilla d’Errico’s book Cute and Creepy as a birthday gift earlier this week. I saw this image and couldn’t help myself but color it for the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge. I thought it did a fabulous job representing the mood board: pumpkins from two of the images, black, grey and orange and a cat from the upper right. I took a picture of this image and imported it so I could print it out on grey toned art paper. Then the fun began…… White Charcoal….. aka…. crack (Lisa Mitrokhin named). The majority of this image is prisma colors: PC914, PC109,PC118,PC916,PC1002,PC1032, PC918, PC1061, PC1065, PC1063, PC925, PC931, PC947. The background is brown, blue and orange pastels. I did use a little white and black gel pen for accents.

  1. Oh my gosh!!! It looks like this kitty really doesn’t want to lift that pumpkin top but, well…..she is a cat so, I hope nothing bad comes out, LOL!!
Love, love the colors on the black background, especially those scary pumpkins floating around, this is one scary and fabulous card.
Thank you for sharing with us at 2 OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE.
    Stay healthy and safe.

    • Maria, you are just the sweetest! You are always so generous with your comments and positive thoughts. If my children were still having to do creative writing, it would make a fabulous writing prompt. I suppose I could still make them do it?? Oh the moans, I can hear them now. LOL. Take care!!! 🧡 MK
