Happy Saturday Craft Day, fellow crafters! I am thrilled to be here with all of you, ready to embark on a crafting adventure. Today, I have an exciting card project that I can’t wait to share. Get ready to unwind and let your creativity soar! It is my take on a z-fold card; it has the same dimensions as my 999 Happy Haunts card.
Happy Wednesday, everyone! I’m thrilled to share a Haunted Mansion-inspired card with you all today. This card has the dimensions of a mini, slim-line card with a few extra folds, giving it a fun fold card feel. The inspiration behind this creation comes from three sources: the iconic Haunted Mansion, Craft Roulette episode 171, and a fantastic card design by Popsiclesticks on Instagram.
Let’s dive into how you can recreate this card base. Start by cutting a piece of paper to 6×10.5 inches. Score it at 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5 and 9 inches. Additionally, cut a second piece measuring 5.25×6 inches and score it at 3 inches. To add a touch of eerie elegance, I adorned all the sides with hauntingly beautiful paper from Whimsy Stamps. For the backgrounds, I opted for black watercolor paper and blended them using pan-pastels, achieving a captivating effect.
The images on the card are from Kindred Stamps, stamped using Memento black ink, and expertly colored with Copics. To convey the perfect sentiments, I used simple die cuts made with Sizzix’s Tim Holtz Classic Alphabet. A little glue to hold everything together, and voila! Your card is complete.
I hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed creating it. Happy crafting, everyone!
Happy Hump Day, everyone! I wanted to share a fun little project I worked on recently – a cute birthday card featuring none other than Yogi Bear! I couldn’t resist using an adorable coloring page of Yogi Bear and bringing him to life with some vibrant Copic markers.
To complement the focal image, I decided to incorporate a large die cut from Lawnfawn, which served as the perfect sentiment for the card. I crafted a beautiful background using Distress Oxide inks in Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Wilted Violet. The combination of these colors added a touch of whimsy and playfulness to the overall design.
The best part of this card is that it was quick and easy to put together. I hope this card brings a smile to someone’s face on their special day. Wishing you all a fantastic week ahead!
So, check out my Halloween meets Lawnfawn card. I chose to play with all three colors this month. The challenge this month is open to any combination of the colors red, white, and blue. I chose to use al three, albeit my red is quite dark but present nonetheless. I imagine this is what Stephen King’s desk might look like if he was in one of his books.
This is my entry for the Colorful Options Challenge, serving up some serious design team vibes; June’s color of the month is peach. But that’s not all! Inspired by the awesome ride “The Secret Lives of Pets,” this creation also doubles as a contribution to Park Hopping My Happy Place. Talk about a two-for-one special!

This towering twosome is neck-deep in birthday bash prep. Seems like the guest of honor is none other than Bertha, the elephant. She’s set to go wild for the cake & party “trunks.” I stumbled upon these whimsically stamped digi critters from Whimsy stamps and playfully painted them with copic colors. To set the stage, I harnessed some adorable patterned paper, crafting a scene that roars with excitement. And for the final touch, I borrowed a punny sentiment from Lawn Fawn, because let’s face it, it’s irrelephant to resist!
Any wild guesses where I draw my artistic roar-spiration from? Well, I’ll let the cat out of the bag, it is the Jungle Cruise. Are you pun-dering if I’ve reached my quota of puns? Well, perhaps, I should probably stop monkeying around.

This month, our card inspiration comes from the legendary Great Movie Ride at Hollywood Studios in Orlando, FL, USA. Although the ride has been retired, its legacy lives on through various reminders. One such reminder is the iconic Grauman’s Chinese Theater, which continues to stand tall, housing Mickey & Minney’s Runaway Railway. Adjacent to the theater, you’ll find the illustrious Hollywood Walk of Fame, where the stars of the entertainment industry forever cement their place in history.
Park Hopping enthusiasts, get ready for an exhilarating adventure as we announce our next destination: the magnificent Kilimanjaro Safari Ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, FL, USA! This captivating attraction has provided us with awe-inspiring pictures to fuel your imagination.
While the Kilimanjaro Safari Ride may be our starting point, we want to emphasize that safari-themed parks can be found all around the world. The mesmerizing beauty of safari animals knows no bounds, and we encourage you to draw inspiration from any theme park, regardless of its location. Remember, our pictures are meant to ignite your artistic vision and spark your imagination. We eagerly await the masterpieces you’ll bring to life, celebrating the wonders of theme parks worldwide.

Last week, I participated in Craft Roulette and I’m excited to share my creation. The guidelines were to incorporate a see-through element (using a window), fashion (with a shopper and store), rustic garden colors (such as those found in a rose garden), and the shape of an irregular hexagon (when the envelope is unfolded).
I took inspiration from the classic movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s for the design. The images displayed in the windows were created digitally by me using Canva. I used an old May May Made It stamp of a shopper, which I modified by removing her Santa hat and adding white gloves. The awnings were from a previous Hero Arts stamp set that I adapted using a partial die-cut technique to make them smaller, and I drew in the “pleats.”
