I chose to do a color pop entry with a bold green and black.
If you like to crochet & want to make this here is what I used:
We were thrilled with all the fantastic entries for our August challenge and can’t wait to see your creativity for this month. As always, our challenge is open to any theme park-inspired creation.
This month’s inspiration photo features Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival. With September bringing the promise of cooler weather, a relaxing stroll with a cool drink sounds perfect. Let your imagination run wild and show us your magical creations!
My color palette is directly inspired by this month’s photo of Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival’s brochure. My theme comes from the cat’s of Disneyland & balloons (you can find these at every theme park). Originally I was going to place the milk bottle with the cat, but the balloon just looked better.

Hey everyone, welcome back to another exciting month at the Colorful Options Challenge! 🎨🌈 This time, we’re getting our inspiration from the vibrant mix of yellow and green. Pick any combo of these two colors that speaks to you. Not feeling it? No worries—join us with a rainbow-inspired palette instead. Whether you’re painting, crafting, or designing, the possibilities are endless!
This month, I decided to keep it clean and simple (CAS) and played around with the color of the month. I used Distress Oxides in Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, and Twisted Citron, along with Tim Holtz’s Splatters Layering stencil for the background. My focal image is Mocch by Lavinia Stamps, and the sentiment is from Sizzix’s Good Vibes #2.
