What more could you want from a Halloween bag than three little trick-or-treaters on it’s front?! When I am not playing with papercrafts, I needlepoint, crochet and knit. There are few crafts that I don’t enjoy. I have been needlpointing since I was 10 and is therefore my favorite. This bag is made using many different stitches and threads. The pumpkins are turkeywork that is the cut back and sculpted. The kitty is angora. The mummy is simply random long and short stitches with an ivory ribbon. The belly dancer’s pants are french knots; her belt and bra are solid beads. The moon glows in the dark. The background is a variegated thread stitched in a darning pattern. We are using the bag as an indoor decoration and it is filled with candy.
Which little one do you like the best? I am partial to the little belly dancer; her hair just makes me smile.
Happy Stitching y’all!!
This s a fabulous project. Thanks for joining AYLI challenge. Elaine
