Aloha

Aloha, crafters! I’m off to the islands today with a layered card. Have you ever started out with one design in mind and ended up with something completely different? I don’t know about other crafters, but this happens to me often and it sure did with this design. The rose gold foil from Foil Quill adds a little shimmy (oh, I mean shimmer) and shine. The remainder of the card are simple images and a sentiment (Hero Arts February + Distressed Oxide’s Tattered Rose).

 Mahalo Nui Loa!

  1. MK, love your use of the Foil Quill (I just started using mine last week). Don’t we all wish we could be off to the islands?? I like how you used the outline figure and the trick with the word “lei” on your card! Thank you for sharing your creativity once again with us at Double Trouble!!! -Donna

  2. Lovely interpretation of the layout, and love the color choices and foil background so shiny and pretty. Very pretty card and thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble.

  3. Lovely card, MK! It takes me back to many visits to my late brother’s home in Hawai’i. The gold foil reminds me of the kiss of warm sun on my face while taking my early morning walks. Thank you for that reminder and thank you for playing along with us at Double Trouble #77.
