Happy Sunday, crafters! I was challenged with doing “something different.” After some thought, I decided to make a card with NO coloring. Lawn Fawn’s Leafy Die Set provided the frame, branch and leaves and their “One in a Chameleon” stamp set provided the chameleon abnd sentiment. I had not used these two products yet and thought they worked well together. I had a pet chameleon for years and so do miss them. They are such cute and sweet little creatures. The chameleon is stamped with Versamark ink and Ranger Tan embossing powder. I added a bird, some clouds and flowers to make it a bit more interesting.
Don’t forget to Smolder today!

congrats on challenging yourself to try something different today-and a card with no colouring! It worked out superb. You have created a fabulous scene, each die built up and placed so carefully. I like the mix of patterns and the neutral colours but then the vibrant yellows and greens. Super card and thanks for joining Time Out-always good to see you x

What a sweet scene you created for your cameleon and love how you used your plaid in the grass and sun. Great layout and use of dies. Our boys were able to capture a couple cameleons when we were visiting in Floriday and brought them back home in NYS. One was called Camiel and the other was Leon.. lol. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and

This is so fantastic, you might have to make more cards like this with no colouring!! The chameleon is so adorable and such a cool idea to make him basically colourless. All of those die-cuts add so much texture and interest and the patterned paper suits it beautifully. I’ve never seen a chameleon in real life but always thought they looked amazing, especially their little feet. So very glad you shared this with us at TIME OUT!
