Good morning crafting world! I have a mixed media piece for you this am. This is a combination of distressed paint, distressed ink, ink, pan pastels, gel pens, and a little glitter for fun. The SSS Monday challenge is “I can see clearly”. Although many have taken this as adding a clear item, I couldn’t help but be inspired by the words and the song is clearly implies. My image was inspired by the line “It’s gonna be a bright, bright, sunshiny day.” This beautiful woman is standing in the middle of a forest with the glow of sunshine. Too bad my children are no longer having to submit creative writing based on a picture; this would be perfect! Enjoy!!!! Here’s my recipe.
- Stamps: Lavinia Zemira, flower (don’t know name); Tim Holtz Flights of Fancy
- Distressed Paint: Dried Marigold, Blueprint sketch
- Acrylic Paint: Aqua (could not find my light/baby blue)
- Ink: Onyx Black, VersaFine Clair: Morning Mist, Twlight,
- Distressed Inks/Oxides: Dried Marigold-oxide, Spiced Marmalade-Ink
- Pan pastels: Darkest Blue, Darkest Purple, White,Orange
- Gel Pens: Gelly Roll Gold, Gelly Roll Souflee-orange
- Glitter: Art Glitter Mimosa
Just beautiful with so much intensity of colour, thanks so much for sharing and joining in with our ‘Anything Goes with an option’ theme at Allsorts this week.
