Melts?

Greetings, lovely readers! April has rolled in, bringing with it a fresh breeze of excitement. My two challenge blogs, Park Hopping My Happy Place and the Colorful Options Challenge, have similar colors this month. I have departed from cards this month and embellished some adorable Sanrio stationary with wax seals instead.

This month, Park Hopping My Happy Place is inspired by the whimsical world of Sanrio. However, here’s the twist – it’s an “anything goes” challenge, drawing inspiration from the enchanting realm of theme parks.

The Colorful Options Challenge is challenging us to use a pastel palette this month.

Relaxed & Tailored Made

Hey there, folks! Happy Saturday vibes to you all! 💃

I couldn’t wait to show off my latest creation – this super fun granny square sweater! I stumbled upon this pattern idea on Pinterest and instantly knew it was destined to become a gift for my BFF. 😁

You know me, I’m all about that freestyle crochet life. Each granny square in my latest project is like a shoutout to my BFF’s vibe – I even threw in a nod to her fave Studio Ghibli movie with a sick plane design. How cool is that? I did use a pattern to piece together the jacket once all those squares were on point. It’s wild how a bit of creativity can turn into something straight-up awesome.

So, what do you think? Share the love and let me know your thoughts! 🌈💕

And hey, can you believe it’s already a brand-new month? Let’s kick it off with serious positive vibes and make it the best yet! This is my Design Tem contribution for the Colorful Options Challenge. So, instead of rollin’ with the typical color of the month, I went all in with the alternative rainbow palette. 🌈✌️

Books & Hot Coca

Hey, crafty pals! Hope you’re having a fab Sunday evening. 🌟 So, guess what? I totally dove into Craft Roulette this weekend, and the result is a super cool single-layer CAS card! 🎨

Inspired by the deliciousness of a bakery-fresh cherry pie, I picked a vibrant color palette that’s just as sweet. For the no-line Copic coloring magic, I went with Ink on Three Fading ink – it’s like the secret sauce for bringing my Lawn Fawn stamps to life!

Creating this card was a blast, and the cherry pie vibes are giving me all the feels. If you’re into effortless and adorable, this one’s for you! Happy crafting, and catch you on the creative side! ✨🍰

Read-Relax-Repeat

Hey there, lovely crafters! Today, I’m excited to share a nearly CAS (Clean and Simple) card inspiration with you. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors of Belen’s Sweets, a Peruvian bakery in Houston, I’ve crafted a card that’s both eye-catching and easy to make.

To recreate this beauty, start by stamping the background with Versafine Clair Chianti, capturing the rich hues reminiscent of the bakery. Next, stamp and color your focal point – a simple yet charming step that adds a personal touch to your creation. Don’t forget to emboss a heartfelt sentiment for that extra special touch.

Assemble your masterpiece by layering it with coordinating colors of cardstock. This step not only enhances the visual appeal but also adds a touch of sophistication to your card. And voilà, you’ve got yourself a stunning handmade card that’s as easy as can be. Happy crafting, friends! 💖🌟

Owl Post

Greetings, everyone! I hope you’re enjoying this lovely Sunday afternoon. Today, I delved into the world of postage collage dies once again and had a delightful crafting session. This time, I decided to pair the collage die with stamps from Popsiclesticks & The Sassy Stamps.

Inspired by the exquisite black swallowtail butterfly, I carefully curated a color palette that would bring my creation to life. Although I may not consider my coloring to be my absolute best, I believe the chosen colors perfectly captured the essence of my inspiration.

To give you a glimpse into my creative process, I’ve taken a snapshot of the supplies I used. Crafting is such a rewarding experience, and I find joy in every moment spent bringing my ideas to life.

Wishing all fellow crafters a fantastic week ahead filled with inspiration and creativity. Until next time, happy crafting!

Forever Vintage Disney

Happy Sunday, lovely crafters! 🌼✨ Guess what Santa brought me this Christmas? The delightful Waffleflower Postage Collage Die! 🎅🎁 I finally carved out some time to dive into its creative wonders, and oh boy, the results are practically perfect in every way! 🌂💖

You know, I’ve always believed that this die set is like the Mary Poppins of crafting—it pairs magically with any Kindred Stamps set out there! 🌟 So, naturally, I couldn’t resist the charm of the Perfect Nanny set. Because, let’s be real, who doesn’t adore a bit of Mary Poppins fan art? 🌂👜✨

After die-cutting, I stamped a few whimsical images using my trusty Memento Black ink. 🖤 Then I spent some time adding a touch of Copic coloring. 🎨 To add that extra touch of flair, I incorporated various Postage Stamps from Waffleflowers and added delicate highlights with a white gel pen. ✒️💕

Well, I couldn’t stop there! 💌 I whipped up a coordinating envelope adorned with stamps celebrating the timeless Mary Poppins film. Because, honestly, if we’re going to create, let’s make it practically perfect from start to finish! 🌈✉️

Curious about the reference behind one of the stamps? 🤔 Leave me a comment below—I’d love to chat about why I chose each one. Happy crafting, and may your creations be as magical as a spoonful of sugar! 🥄✨
