DD!4

My DD14 saw the last color throwdown challenge and couldn’t resist making this cute gift card holder card. She used the My Favorite Things gift card and rip strip set to help hold the card and some fun Lawn Fawn stamps to finish it. Great job girl!!

This card was inspired by the current Fusion Card challenge. DD14 made this card. The background was distressed oxide with a hexagon stencil (although they look more like polkadots). The stamps are from Art Impessions Wisk It set. The sentiment is a simple gold ink. Great job, girlie!!

Lawn Fawn’s challenge #71 is Bring it Back. My DD couldn’t resist breaking out the washi tape for this. Great use of colors!! Good luck on the challenge!!

Frolicking Friends

DD14

DD14 created this card using the Colorthrowdown challenge #577. She used stamps from Lawnfawn and Hello Bluebird. She did a bit of masking and quite a bit of copic coloring. She used Nina solar white 100lb paper cut with a stitched lawn fawn frame. I love the look of her unicorn friends. Good job girl!!!

Happy Die Cut

The Lawn Fawn Challenge 65 is fun with Dies. My DD13 was inspired by a recently purchased Lawn Fawn set. I had barely opened my happy mail and she was off the the craft room. She couldn’t resist making a cute Halloween shaker card/snow globe. The Lawn fawn sets used were Ready, Set, Snow. She thought her shaker looked like leaves falling from the trees. Great job Kat!!

Sketch book inspiration

My DD13, receives a sketchbox every month as part of her Christmas present for 2018. This month’s box had various white and black inks with toned blue mixed media paper. This is what she is currently creating. I love how this creature is turning out. This one almost looks “petable”. LOL! CLM, don’t kill me for that. What type of fantasy creature is it? What do you think??

Simon Says Stamp summer vacation: kids challenge (anything goes with sparkle) was taken up by my DD. DD13 loves crafting in general. She is currently into crochet, but took a break to work on some paper crafts. She used lawn fawn stamps for the trees and the unicorn. She used copic markers for her coloring. She embellished with some glitter spray, white gold paint, and a few crystals for a little shine, shimmer and glimmer.

PRACTICALLY PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

My DD13 made this birthday card for me. She was inspired by my first horse Dash. Dash was a black and white paint with a black mane. I always say that he was my Mary Poppins, practically perfect in every way.

FANTASTIC BEASTS – CLM STYLE

Working on creating fictional creatures. My DD13’s imagination is limitless. This was posted to the blog a few days ago. What a pleasure it is to see her creatures evolve with time.
