In the woods with Rosie & Bernie

Happy Weekend Crafting Everyone! I am starting out the weekend with Rosie and Bernie from Stamping Bella. They are stamped on Copic paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Copic coloring was used for both Rosie and Bernie. The dress on Rosie is washi tape from my stash. Bernie’s horn is painted with white gold watercolor. The background is a stencil from Hero Arts with a little help from Tim Holtz’s distressed oxides (Hickory Smoke, Picket Fence, Black Soot, Candied Apple). Unfortunately, the gradation of the stencil was hard for me to capture in the photo. 🙄 Although not a CAS card, the card was fairly simple to make. Thank you to the people at the color throw down challenge #578 and the Case this Sketch for the inspiration!

TGIF Y’all!

Smell the Flowers

Thank you for the inspiration Fusion Card Challenge!! I love the cute little squirrel!!! When I first saw this challenge, I couldn’t help but think of the Mischievous Mole set by Clearly Besotted. I stamped the mole on some craft card stock with Memento black ink and colored him with Copic’s E59,E57,E55, Y08,Y21,G07, and G09. MFT’s radiating rays and some distressed oxide provided the background, which I then cut with a die from Spellbinders. The sentiment is from the Mischievous Mole set embossed with Just Java Aroma Embossing Powder by Emerald Creek. I hope you like it. 😁

Enjoy a crafty challenge today, y’all!

Dream Big Dreams

This cutie was inspired from the CAS(e) this sketch challenge #356. I can’t say the card is CAS, but it does follow the sketch. I love unicorns and I found this one in a set by Darcie called Hop on Unicorn. The rainbow is from MFT’s Magical Unicorn. Copic colors used for the coloring were: R00,RV00,G0,B00,V00,Y00.. The background is Distressed Oxide stenciling using Faded Jeans, Twisted Citron, Lucky Clover and a cloud stencil by MFT. A few small die cuts provided the “rain”. The sentiment is from Hello Bluebird’s Unicorn Tales embossed using using Versafine Onxy Black ink and Black Cherry Aroma embossing powder by Emerald Creek. Then, there was LOTS of glitter!! Glitter spray, clear Spectrum Noir glitter pen, silver Wink of Stella, and some Nuvo jewel drops.

My favorite part was using the embossing powder. I cannot say enough good things about Emerald Creek’s products!. This sentiment is quite fine and I was worried that the embossing powder would not cover the thin areas of ink. So, I decided to use the black ink instead of Versamark embossing ink. The powder stuck to every area, even the delicate areas. When heating, there is little to no warping of the paper as the powder melts quickly. What a joy to work with.

💜💜💜 Have a crafy day y’all! 💜💜💜

A dream is a wish your hear makes…” – Cinderella

Just skatin’ by

….to leave a little sparkle wherever you go.

A clean and simple card to start the week. The fairy and pond are stamped with Ink on 3 fadeout ink to allow for some no line coloring and embossing. The embossing on the wings, snowflakes and pond was done with a Versamark ink and some holographic embossing powder by Ranger. The sentiment was stamped with Distressed Oxide Tattered Rose. A little white gel pen for the furry trim completes the card.

Birthday Bellini

Cheers and Happy Birthday to all the January Birthdays! Who wouldn’t love to be on the beach sipping a Peach Bellini in the warm summer sun? This card was fairly straight forward to make. It is MFT’s stamp Penguins in Paradise. Some Memento Black Ink, Xpress it Blending card stock and some masking. The rest is a lot of Copic coloring and some white Gelly Roll pen details.

Cheers Y’all!

I’m Sorry

It is storming here today, so I had time to make this cute card for an injured friend. She sustained an injury while working with horses. So, I couldn’t resist making an I’m sorry …. Feel Better card for the horse to give to her. 😊 The horse is a combination of stamps by Clearly Besotted ( Little Donkey & Magical Plushies). I used Ink on 3 fadeout ink to stamp the donkey. Then it was traced with a 0.5 EK tools writing pen changing the tail, mane and ears to follow the shape from the unicorn in Magical Plushies. The horse was colored with Copic Markers (0,C0,C1,C3,C5). The background is a gel print I made with acrylic paints and a tree stencil. The grass is teal cardstock cut with LawnFawn dies. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts greeting set. The inside is a retired Crafin’ Desert Divas stamp. All embossing was done with Emerald Creek’s Burmese Jade Boho Blends. I have to say, their powders are simply amazing!

Happy Craft Day Y’all

Thanks Tink

Apparently, I cannot get enough of Tinkerbell these days. 😁 This is my first time using a kraft colored card stock as my base. My color palate is from the color throw down challenge #575: kraft, gold, green, white. The green made me think of Tinkerbell. Tink is wearing her winter wardrobe from Lawn Fawn’s Frost Fairy Friends. She is stamped using Memento black ink and colored with copic markers (YG11,G09,G07, hair: Y00,YR21,Y28). Her snow globe home is from Lawn Fawn’s Ready,Set,Snow Shaker Add On. It’s hard to see but Tink’s wings and the snowglobe’s background are covered in an gold shimmer spray. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn’s Fairy Friends and embossed with Versamark ink and Emerald Creek’s Apple Martini embossing powder. I LOVE their embossing powders!!! I have owned the fairy stamp sets for some time and just received the Ready, Set, Snow Shaker add on as a Christmas gift. I couldn’t wait to use it! Tinkerbell and the Secret of the Wings is still fresh on my mind, so I used a bit of the old and a bit of the new.

Happy Winter Crafting Y’all!

I entered three challenges with this card: You can find all the challenges I play in on the side bar of my blog as well.

Warm Winter Wishes

Warm winter wishes to everyone!

I’m on a trend of CAS cards lately. The AAA cards CAS card lottery for January is Warm Winter Wishes. I used stamps from Lawn Fawn’s Ready Set Snow and some Ranger Archival Ink in sky blue. I tiny bit of Copic coloring (B0000, R00) for the snowman. The ground is Spectrum Noir Fine Glitter in clear. Pretty Simple!. 😁⛄

Stay warm & happy crafing y’all!

Thankful

A very clean and simple card to share. This is my take on two challanges: the color throwdown challege and the As You Like It Challenge. Tim Holtz supplies were used for the majority of this card. The ink blending used Candied Apple Distressed Oxide and a little bit of masking to create the red block in the center. Then some simple stamping using Tim Holtz’s Mini Boquet stamp set and Memento ink in Rich Cocoa. And, viola, you have a thank you card.

Happy Crafty Weekend Y’all!
